Opened in April 2001, EXCO is an exhibition center of international scale. It has successfully hosted major international conferences such as JCI ASPAC, Daegu International Optical Exhibition (DIOPS), Daegu International Fiber Exhibition (PID), International Information Exhibition Academic Conference, and International Exhibition (IMID). Designated as a conference venue by the MAIN PRESS CENTRE (MPC) and the International Media Centre (IBC), the Daegu Convention Center also helped organize the Summer University Students' Conference in 2003.
EXCO is located in the center of Daegu, South Korea, it has an area of 27,00 square meters (4,000 square meters outdoor), built with a scale of 1300 auditorium, a total of 34 meeting rooms, etc., can host medium and large exhibitions and conferences at the same time.
